A group of us from out of town decided to go here because we heard they had great pizza and bloody Marys (which they did!), however, the service was a bit off...

Absolutely delicious pizza! Everything is homemade including the crust, so it takes a little time, but totally worth it. Service was great - bartender was knowegable and whole staff was friendly.
The Nugget just might be your best bet to get a good pizza in Deadwood. I wouldn't know because I didn't order one, but the menu looked good featuring a cast of creative and original flavors.
Also a couple of my chicken wings were bloody. They were super great about not having me pay for that AND they gave me a free drink for the trouble. That was good service on their part, but the actual food was just O.K. Not sure if I would recommend this place unless it was for the pizza or the $10 bloody Mary's...
However, if you're looking for a hearty meat and potatoes, meal sized appetizer that is quite tasty, give a go to the Pot Roast Poutine. You'll get a massive bowl slightly salty french fries topped with shredded roast beef, deep fried cheese curds and brown gravy. The only sad part here is the gravy is your standard restaurant industry dry gravy mix, but otherwise this dish is a total bar food win.
Two waiters tried to do the "memorize your order" thing, which was cool but they forgot everything we said. They gave my friend an order sheet and we all had to write down what we got and hand it back to him. There were six of us, so it's a big order but it was kind of weird. We did spill a drink and the lady with pink hair came to clean our mess and was super nice about it at least, but the table had no napkins, or silverware. It seemed a bit weird also that we were the only people being served with plastic cups and paper plates. It wasn't too eco-friendly for a table of six of us.
