When I am in deadwood for the day I often eat at tin lizzies buffet. It is a good price for decent food. I especially enjoy their soup bar.

The best place to gamble in Deadwood. The burger place inside is also a good deal. Paddy's always has good drink specials during the week.
Clean place. Could use more lighting. Craps table open all the time which is nice.very friendly staff. Buffet is good, but they use powdered eggs.
I have not stayed in a hotel room at Tin Lizzie but I have visited the casino, Starbucks, and dined at the buffet. The casino is clean and has a nice mix of games, often with newer slots. The Starbucks is nice but everytime I have gone there for a drink there is only one person working hard trying to make drinks for a line of people so there is usually a long wait. The buffet doesn't have a very large selection but it what they do have is pretty good, the day I visited it was about a step above Golden Corral but I can imagine the quality is probably on par with Golden Corral most days. My favorite thing to do when I make a trip to Deadwood is to stop by Tin Mozzie for an ice cream cone, my favorite is Huckleberry Heaven but they don't have it very often.
