Didn't take the tour but the bus arrived as we were visiting Mt Moriah cemetery. The tour guide was super obnoxious and making inappropriate jokes over his loud headset microphone. I realize that Deadwood is a little bit cornball Old West™ but I thought his behavior was incongruent with the setting. Mt. Moriah isn't a movie set. It's a real cemetery with actual people buried there. I think the same info could be conveyed in a much more respectful way and still be entertaining.
We have taken this tour two times now and have enjoyed the whole experience. The guide was very personable and seemed to really know the history.
We loved this tour. Our tour guide was hilarious and made everyone feel as if they were part of the tour. Our kids liked it as well. Even our hard to please teenagers.
Hot!! No air conditioning but we would have not complained except for the tour guide who was ridiculous. If he had been one tenth as funny as he thought he was, it would have almost been bearable. His political jokes were offensive!!!! I never write back reviews but this was bad!!!
