Cabins were clean and comfortable. No one was in office on Friday morning when we tried to check out.
This place is pricy for what you get. Very tight spots. View of Deadwood is nice.
we got here about 9 pm set up camp. large lots easy access beautiful country. very secluded.
The owner who recently sold to his daughter is such a turkey that 2 pizza places in town do not want to deliver here!! The space between pull throughs are extremely narrow. They advertise free WiFi and when I asked why it wouldn't work they just essentially said, "tough luck, it's broke,,no idea when we might fix it." After paying for 2 nights we wanted to leave, but again were told "tough luck..no refunds." Oh, and if u enjoy barbecuing right by the neighbors sewer dump, you're in luck, because that is the most usable area. I would avoid it...good luck if u choose it!
This place wasn't that great. We stayed in the cabins which are right by the busy driveway and main road leading into Deadwood. There are no linens, which isn't a deal breaker necessarily but when you're paying 82$ a night what are you paying for? The bathroom is outside the cabin, the showers are a walk up the hill and they are disgusting. There were piles of dust under the bee, leftover beer bottle and items from previous guests, old air conditioners poor insulation so it was freezing at night...I would much rather pay for a hotel room that is comparable in cost for all of the amenities that this was lacking. It would be different if it was in a nice environment as a cabin but it is not. Or I would stay in a tent. I'm used to roughing it for the appropriate cost but for 82$ I would rather stay in a hotel than this cabin.
