We stayed at Wild Bills' during the motorcycle rally, and thought it was perfect. It's far enough from Sturgis that you aren't inconvenienced by the excess traffic, yet it's a great ride to get there. Deadwood is right up the road, and the beautiful ride south through the Black Hills starts right there. Having the bar/restaurant at the campground is nice for when you're feeling too lazy to go anywhere. The campground was kept clean throughout the week, and there weren't any crazy loud partiers annoying anyone else. The only negative is that the RV spaces on the north side of the park are pretty darn close together (close enough that our fire ring was under our canopy, so we couldn't use both). Makes sense for this week when you're wanting to accommodate as many guests as possible, but would suck any other week of the year.
Very friendly managment. Campground was clean and quiet. I love the location with the streams running through the campground. The bar serves a mean burger but my favorite was the huge basket of deep fried green beans. Yum. Would definitely visit here again.
Hello, My brother and myself stayed at campgrounds which was clean and well kept. If you had a problem with any thing the owners were listening and corrected right away. Food was great and reasonably priced. Yes we will be back next year, thanks for the great jokes and fun times. Kyran ( Chuck) and Hank Mangold.
Really nice spot to camp. We pitched the tent towards the back of the grassy green. Anywhere else around the area during this time of year may not even have grass. I know a couple of the other campsites we looked at we're mostly dry and dusty. And the hamburgers we got at the cafe in the front were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
