One of the best casinos in Deadwood! Great variety of machines available and lots of newer games that I haven't seen at the other casinos I visited. The staff is attentive and helpful, and mostly pretty friendly. There are plenty of bathrooms available and table games if that's what you like to play. There is a buffet and a late night deli if your hungry. I haven't stayed in the hotel but I'm sure it's very nice if the rest of the establishment is anything to go by.
Bad bad bad service! For the high prices buffet some manners from the carved and refills on the drinks would have been nice. Food was ok but not worth the price or service
Not a fan of crab legs or prime rib so I had the fish which was amazing. It was truly the best I have ever had in my life.
I got a great rate on a beautiful room at this hotel in deadwood. Super clean, really comfortable stay. The only reason it received two stars from me is because I believe one of their employees stole a cactus plant of mine. Sounds ridiculous, but we were in a cross country trip and I pulled it out of my car and set it on the ground right next to my driver side door to get some sun. We were the only car parked in the upper outdoor lot as it was a slow weekday. We were making trips to and from the car, and in less than 15 minutes my cactus was gone. The only person around that entire hour was a white girl in her mid twenties patrolling around on a golf cart. When confronted about it, she said a little too much about how she didn't take it. lol. For identification purposes, she had brown hair and a nose ring. I hope she enjoys my cactus. And I hope that First Gold Hotel sees this. The plant had been with me for over 7 years and lived in three states.
